The Waukesha/Pleasurecraft Marine Connection

(This is the sixth, and last, in a series of articles about the various engine lines Waukesha acquired over the years that are no longer in production.)

In 1970, Bangor Punta Corp., which had acquired the Waukesha Motor Co. in 1968, acquired Pleasurecraft Marine, which used converted Ford V8's for its inboard marine engines. Waukesha's Clinton Iowa plant was assigned the task of converting the Ford V8's into inboard marine engines.
